Cassandra Faurote
President and Founder

An entrepreneur and avid supporter of area businesses, Faurote has over 25 years of professional experience in human resources. She is the founder and President of Total Reward Solutions. She has consulted with companies from 8 to 4,000 employees and in well over 30 industries. Born in Dayton, Ohio, Cassandra has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and holds three certifications to include SPHR, CCP and SHRM-SCP.

Professional affiliations include Society for Human Resources Management, World at Work, Indy SHRM, and NAWBO. Cassandra has taught in the human resources certificate program at IUPUI and has also authored an article in Workspan, a World at Work publication, on 10 Ways to Use Your Merit Dollars. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and is also a speaker for various human resources and compensation groups. Cassandra currently serves on the Board for the Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce.

Shellye Kaplin
Managing Director

Shellye Kaplin possesses over 20+ years’ hands-on experience both as a practitioner and consultant. Shellye has a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Louisville. Professional affiliations include being a member of World At Work and the Society for Human Resources Management.

At Total Reward Solutions, Shellye supports clients through the development of competitive compensation programs. She also develops job descriptions and compensation administration guidelines, conducts external benchmarking, provides FLSA and discrimination analysis and is the client interface with many of our clients.

Peggy Boyd
Strategic Account Manager

Peggy Boyd is a human resources leader who has trained and developed top talent across a multitude of organizations and work environments. She has more than 20 years of progressive HR experience and has a passion for building relationships of trust and delivering results with integrity. Peggy is SHRM-SCP and SPHR Certified. Professional affiliations include the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Indy SHRM. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management & Management Administration from Indiana University.

Peggy supports Total Reward Solutions with business development and sales support with both clients and prospects. Peggy’s outreach will ensure our clients know when it’s time to update the previous work Total Reward Solutions has completed for them so that they can continue to attract, retain and motivate talent.

Susan Kaspar
Executive Coordinator

Susan is our Executive Coordinator and keeps our office running smoothly assisting with setting client appointments, keeping client contact information updated, sending marketing materials, and many other office and executive support responsibilities. She has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Texas.

Amanda Parker
Director of Marketing

Amanda brings more than 20 years of expertise in marketing and business development. A strong believer in making business personal, she not only commits to it, she lives by this core value every day, making sure it resonates throughout the entire company in every discussion, every decision and every interaction. Her core values, savvy business sense and keen insights are a valued part of the TRS team.

Bob Chenoweth
Director of Content

With more than 25 years experience developing custom creative solutions for corporations as well as small- to medium-sized businesses, Bob Chenoweth is a professional writer, content consultant, graphic designer and website developer. He makes it easier for our core audiences to connect with the complex HR and related regulatory issues we handle for clients. Bob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, and received the Outstanding Professional Award for his class. He has served as Chairman and Marketing & Communications Director for the Indy Rainbow Chamber of Commerce, and is also an accomplished artist.
